KGH hypnobirthing practitioner, doula & women’s coach
I am a passionate hypnobirthing teacher, doula and life coach. I care deeply about supporting women and empowering them to create lives that they love.
Journey Ahead is the where this passion lives and breathes.
I work with expectant parents from bump and beyond – from the all important pregnancy days through to creating better balance and boundaries in their lives once little ones arrive.
I’m based in Stockport and am very proud of being a Northern based birth worker and coach.
I aim to make the services I offer accessible – not just in terms of pricing but also by offering virtual, flexible sessions and free resources where possible.
Why I do what I do
I decided to train to be a coach back in 2019, after spending nearly a decade ‘coaching’ in my corporate roles in the advertising world. The fire in my belly to support women was too loud to ignore. I wanted to use my skills in a more meaningful way.
My perspective shifted once again after having my first baby. Discovering hypnobirthing and the world of early motherhood in the midst of a pandemic was a steep learning curve.
Hypnobirthing felt like a ‘lightbulb’ moment. I couldn’t wait to train and share this experience-altering knowledge with more people.
Now I work with parents as a ‘one stop shop’. I offer services from bump and beyond that enhance their experiences, increase their confidence and deepen their connections.

My qualifications
With over a decade in corporate roles, much of my experience and training for coaching has been ‘on the job’. I’ve been lucky to have benefitted from various in-house education from senior leadership training through to mental health first aid.
I completed a CMA and CPD accredited coaching qualification back in 2018 to consolidate my learning.
I completed my hypnobirthing teacher training with KGH. KGH is the only hypnobirthing course to be accredited by the Royal College of Midwives. It is known as the most extensive and ‘gold standard’ hypnobirthing education.
Outside of ‘work’…
I’m a fierce feminist and have a thirst for personal development.
I love reading, listening and learning about how I can better help women feel empowered and achieve what is important to them.
I love going on adventures, and so you’ll often find me exploring with my two dogs, husband and our three children in the peaks.
